  • teaching full time in special education
  • going to school part-time for my M.Ed.
  • practicing meditation daily
  • swimming, hiking, running, biking, and lifting
  • training for obstacle course races and triathlon sprints
  • preparing my body and mind to donate a kidney in June 2017
  • reducing my environmental impact
  • paying down over $38,000 in debt
  • reading, reading, and reading (currently reading or recently finished):
    • Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman
    • One More for the Road by Ray Bradbury
    • Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
    • Welcome to the Monkeyhouse by Kurt Vonnegut
    • The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg
    • A Mind of Your Own by Kelly Brogan
    • Finding Ultra: Rejecting Middle Age, Becoming One of the World’s Fittest Men, and Discovering Myself by Rich Roll
    • The Mind Illuminated: A Complete Meditation Guide Integrating Buddhist Wisdom and Brain Science by John Yates, Matthew Immergut, and Jeremy Graves
  • listening to some of my favorite podcasts to include:
