I’m in Virginia, living with a friend who has become my family, and attempting to maintain a balance of the following:

  • teaching full time in special education
  • going to school part-time for my M.Ed.
  • practicing a simple weekday routine
  • climbing, hiking, running, biking, and lifting
  • discovering some fantastic podcasts (by people who are intentionally wandering, intentionally living, changing the world, and slowing down)
  • paying down over $38,000 in debt
  • reading… I recently finished (for the first or second time):
    • Breaking Trail by Arlene Blum
    • Just Ride: A Radically Practical Guide to Riding Your Bike by Grant Petersen
    • The Last Season by Eric Blehm
    • Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver
    • Buddhism Plain and Simple by Steve Hagen
    • Everything That Remains by Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus
  • reducing my environmental impact
  • enjoying the calm state of being that comes with simple and intentional living

What should I be reading next? What are you doing now? Let me know.
